PPD Research Project

Tell us what you think! We want your ideas about what kinds of research would be useful for you.

The Virginia Costs and Outcomes project is a research project to learn about the relationships between Medicaid Home and Community Based Services expenditures, support needs for adults with IDD, and personal outcomes. We merge three important sources of information (Medicaid data, Supports Intensity Scale, and National Core Indicators) to help us understand how we can support adults with IDD to live well in the community.

This work is supported by the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living and Rehabilitation Research in a grant to the Partnership for People with Disabilities at Virginia Commonwealth University (grant 901FRE0015-02-0). The videos on this page explain some of our work.
